Our bodies our over 75% water. Water is needed for good health. Lets talk about this, and consider becoming more awae of water and our health.
Good Water is the Foundation to Good Health
Most of us don’t realize that the quality and quantity of the water we drink really does have an impact on our health. All life giving and healing processes that happen inside our bodies can not happen without healthy water. (Either pure spring or mountain water, or water from a good water filter. Not bottled water, unless you are sure you know what is in it.)
The truth is that the human body is like a water machine which primarily runs on water and minerals and life force. Medical science has recently focused more on the tremendous healing ability our body has and they have finally caught with what folks in the alternative health community have know that the healthy ability depends on water.
Our human bodies are made up of over 70% water. Our blood is more than 80% water‚ our brains … over 75% water‚ and the human liver amazingly enough is 96% water!
Water’s purity is probably the most basic and critical key to healthy longevity, since the major role that it plays in the function of our brain and nervous system‚ proper digestion and nutrient absorption all depend on a healthy amount of water intake. Without enough good water, our body can not get the nutritional value from our foods and supplements…
Most people are not away how greatly our energy level is affected by the amount of water we consume. Modern medicine has proven that just a 5% drop in body fluids will cause a 25% to 30% loss of energy in an average person and a 15% drop in body fluids could cause death!
Our liver uses water to metabolize fat into useable energy. An increased intake of healthy water helps metabolize and shed stored fat. Much of the energy lost suffered by 80% of our population is due to minor dehydration
Undoubtedly, the single most important component to long-term health is detoxification. A detox that relies almost exclusively on an appropriate intake of good healthy water. Our body‘s only means of flushing out toxins is water. In this industrialized society‚ we are exposed to literally hundreds of harmful chemicals daily. It is well know that the air‚ the foods we eat and much of what we touch can contain traces of harmful chemicals.
In reality it’s impossible to keep toxins from getting into our body. However, we assist our body in ridding itself of these toxins drinking plenty of healthy water. So many degenerative diseases are the result of toxins building up in the body.
So it makes sense, good sense, for us to drink sufficient good water to allow our body to purify itself. What’s probably obvious is that the quality of the water we drink is equally if not more important then the amount. If the water you are drinking already contains chlorine and other chemicals‚ it will have less of an ability to carry toxins out of the body.
We are forcing our liver and kidneys to be a filter, when we consume water that contains traces of synthetic chemicals. This will ultimately damage two of our most vital organs. By consuming an abundant intake of clean‚ healthy water we will allow our bodies to perform all the healing processes that is was created to do.

Water Cure, what is this? What does any of this have to do with a water filter? First lets establish how important drinking enough water. In the words of the author of Water Cure:
"I am a researcher. I have researched dehydration for the past 20 years. When I discovered that the solution to most of the disease conditions of our society is not a money maker, I decided to take my information to the public.
My research revealed that unintentional dehydration produces stress, chronic pains and many degenerative diseases..." Fereydoon Batamanghelidj, M.D.
